1. Information We Collect

We collect information you directly provide and data generated during your use of the app:

• Account & Profile Information: Full name, phone number (used for secure OTP verification), email address, age, gender, and family member profiles created under your account.
• Dental & Health Information: Dental photographs captured using the in-app camera or uploaded from your photo library, scan reports, oral health scores, symptom queries, and interactions with Arogya AI.
• Device Permissions:
  • Camera: To take clear photographs of your teeth and gums for AI screening.
  • Photo Library: To select existing dental photos or save scan reports.
  • Location: Approximate location (only with your permission) to locate nearby dental clinics and practitioners.
• Technical & Usage Diagnostics: Device model, operating system version, app build number, and anonymized performance diagnostics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively for legitimate service purposes:

• Providing AI-assisted screening for teeth alignment, gum health, plaque buildup, and enamel condition
• Generating your personalized oral health score and progress tracker
• Delivering conversational dental guidance via Arogya AI
• Facilitating appointment discovery and bookings with verified dentists near you
• Managing daily scan credits and in-app subscription entitlements
• Ensuring technical security, preventing abuse, and complying with statutory requirements

3. Explicit AI Processing Consent

Before any dental photo is submitted for AI analysis, the application presents an explicit consent notice explaining the scan purpose. You must confirm consent before AI inference begins. You can review or withdraw AI processing consent at any time in app Settings.

4. Data Sharing & Non-Disclosure

We never sell your personal or health data. We do not share your health data with advertisers or data brokers. Information is only shared under these limited conditions:

• With Your Consent: When you voluntarily share your report or book an appointment with a dental specialist.
• Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Data is processed on secure cloud infrastructure (AWS ap-south-1) with end-to-end encryption.
• Legal Obligations: When strictly required to comply with a valid legal order or law enforcement subpoena.

5. Data Security

All data in transit is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3), and stored data is encrypted using AES-256. Access to our inference pipeline is protected by multi-factor authentication, network isolation, and strict role-based controls.

6. Account Deletion & Data Rights

You have full ownership of your data. You can delete your account and all associated oral health records directly within the app at Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete Account.

Confirming account deletion immediately anonymizes and masks your personal identifiable information (name, email, phone number, and documents) and permanently revokes active sessions.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your phone number and email current. You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload non-dental, offensive, fraudulent, or malicious images
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or software
• Abuse or exploit daily scan credit allowances through automated scripts
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a healthcare provider

5. Scan Credits & Subscriptions

Users receive free daily scan credits. Premium subscriptions offer unlimited scans and advanced family plan features, billed transparently through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store In-App Purchases according to platform terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Arogyam Health name, AI Dentist Lite brand, Arogya AI models, interface designs, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of Arogyam Health. You retain ownership of the photographs you capture and upload.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arogyam Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Services or reliance on informational scan guidance.
